Grant Acquisition & Management

PIONEER has been very successful in applying for and acquiring state and federal grants and loans to assess, clean up, and redevelop brownfield sites. There are a wide array of brownfield funding sources available through the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Washington Department of Commerce, the Washington Department of Ecology, Business Oregon, the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, and many other state and federal agencies. Our project managers are familiar with the processes and timelines to acquire the funds and have the experience to successfully manage the funds on behalf of local communities, counties, and coalitions.
